Derby Romero (born June 8, 1990) is an Indonesian actor, singer, producer, and director of Batak descent. Derby started his career in the entertainment world by becoming an advertising model in a newspaper in 1999. Since then, Derby has been a model for various advertisements. Derby began to be known after playing the role of Sadam in the film Petualangan Sherina as his acting debut in 2000. In addition to acting, Derby also tried his hand at singing. In 2002, he launched his first solo album as a child singer, entitled Tangguh . This album was produced by his own father. In 2008, by collaborating with Iras Dollaren, he formed Duo Derby and launched his first single entitled "Gelora Asmara".
