Daniella DeVinter is an Anglo-Danish filmmaker based in Cambridge. She's currently writing her PhD on the crazy, queer German filmmaker Rainer Werner Fassbinder. Outside the ivory towers, Daniella writes crime dramas for major TV broadcasters including Channel 4 and PBS (Before We Die, 2023; Patience, 2025). Daniella wrote, produced, and directed the gothic psycho-drama, Unwell Woman (2024), and has won awards for her one-woman-show shorts (Perfectly Undone, 2021; Writer's Block, 2022). She's also directed kooky music videos (Bad Actors, 2023; Ode to Apocalypse, 2023), and has made films about women's health for the global Headspace app. Daniella navigates life as an autistic ADHDer with hidden disabilities.
