Born on April 9, 1996, in Veliyancode, Kerala, Vivek A V is a passionate filmmaker with a unique background in architecture. His journey into the creative arts began at NIT Calicut, where he studied Architecture and discovered his love for filmmaking. In 2019, Vivek pursued film studies at NID Ahmedabad, where he honed his skills in directing, producing, and storytelling. He created an impressive portfolio of short films and documentaries, including "Sayahnam - Evening" (2021) and "Aazhi - The Ocean" (2023). "Sayahnam" was selected for several film festivals, including the Mumbai Indie Film Festival. Vivek has collaborated with IFFI-selected filmmaker Prithviraj Das Gupta on "Journey of Joy" and participated in a filmmaking workshop with Kerala State Award-winning filmmaker Kamal KM. Currently, he works as a film and video designer, writer, and editor, while also engaging in freelance content creation and creative direction.
